Car No 1 - Endangered Species
Team Leader is Nettie Cherrett. Car was previously known as 'Spirit of Verwood', and has won
three races at Ringwood, and been second twice. Last year it ran in the New Milton Pedal Car
Grand Prix as 'Endangered Species' and came 5th overall. |

Car No 2 - RHH Franks
Team Leader is John House. Car is the winning car from the 2004 race, but this year it is
being pedalled solo, by a one man team - the lone pedaller is Joe Feltham. |

Car No 3 - Ringwood Christian Church
Team Leader is Kirk Thompson. Car has been borrowed from PamPurredPets. It is the first time
that this team has entered the race, and also the first time any of them have pedalled a
pedal car! |

Car No 5 - Spruce Goose 2
Team Leader is Jim Soloman. Car was built for last years New Milton Pedal Car Grand Prix,
and is made mainly of wood! It only managed one and a half laps last time, but it has now
been redesigned and will hopefully be more reliable this year! |

Car No 6 - Fagan's Rocket Back From The Moon
Team Leader is Michael Fagan. Car is sponsored by New Forest Precision and is the sister car
to 'Fagan's Rocket'. This is the first time that it has run in the Ringwood race. |

Car No 7 - Finn M'Couls
Team Leader is Chris Patterson. Car has been borrowed from Royce UK Ltd and is representing
the popular local drinking establishment in Ringwood's Market Place - last time they drank
beer before the race, but this time they are in training - eating pasta and bananas!! Will
they have the luck of the Irish?! |

Car No 8 - Fagan's Rocket
Team Leader is Michael Fagan. Car is sponsored by New Forest Precision. This is the third
time that the car has competed in Ringwood, and this year it has a stainless steel frame
with rear suspension. |

Car No 9 -Gone Biking Mad!
Team Leader is Mark Hudson. Car is sponsored by Gone Biking Mad cycle shop in New Milton.
This is the fourth time they have raced and this year they are hoping for a top ten finish. |

Car No 10 - The Apprentice
Team Leader is Ross Mays. Car was called 'Ow Fararwi', but has now been renamed, in honour
of the team leader who is an apprentice carpenter! The team consists of three friends who
attended Ringwood School together. |

Car No 11 - Shark Attack
Team Leader is Bob Oldfield. Car was built by Ian Lewis, builder of the world champion robot
'Razor' from the popular TV show 'Robot Wars'. 'Shark Attack' has competed in the last six
races at Ringwood and New Milton. |

Car No 12 - DRR 2
Team Leader is Andrew Starr. Car is being pedalled by members of the Dorset Rough Riders
Cycling Club. |

Car No 13 - David Lloyd Leisure
Team Leader is Alastair Crew. Car has been borrowed from Royce UK Ltd and the team is newly
formed from the local gym. |

Car No 15 - Gone Karting Mad
Team Leader is Vince Aragones. Car was created from used bicycles after the team had a heavy
night in the pub, and decided that it was a good idea! |

Car No 16 - Pink Ladies. Ladies Team
Team Leader is Lorraine Kitcher. Car is sponsored by Kitcher Racing (Dad!) On their first
time out at this event in 2003, as 'School Runnings' the all girl team won the 'Best Under
16's Team' Award and finished 15th overall, in a borrowed car from Superior Seals. They
returned in 2004 and again won the 'Best Under 16's Team' Award. The same car has since been
kindly given to them, and has now been painted pink and looks a lot prettier!! (But they are
no longer under 16!) |

Car No 17 - DRR 1
Team Leader is Andrew Starr. Car was built by Martin Pilleys several years ago, and is
famous after being filmed for BBC TV's 'Inside Out' programme in 2004 - the car ended up
racing on three wheels until it was repaired and still finished 20th!! |

Car No 19 - Packhams Pedallers
Team Leader is Kevin Morrison. Car was created by Andrew Lock of Poulner especially for
Chris Packham and his team from BBC TV's 'Inside Out' programme. They competed in the 2004
race (and filmed it!) and now Chris Packham has donated the car and this year it will used
by Ringwood Youth Fire Fighters team. |

Car No 20 - Trinity Typhoons
Team Leader is Rev David Langford. Car is being pedalled by a potent mixture of - a Senior
School Teacher - a Local G.P - and two - yes two - Local Clergymen! It will be propelled by
good team spirit, sheer physical effort and prayers, plus some divine help - hopefully! |

Car No 21 - Hillbilly Racing 1
Team Leader is Sean Conway. Car is sponsored by its creator, Tony Smith. The car has run in
the Ringwood race since 1995, with minor modifications after each event. Best places to date
- 2nd in 1995, 6th in 2003 and 6th in 2004. |

Car No 22 - Christchurch Bicycle Club
Team Leader is Tony Smith. Car was built in 1997 and ran as 'Hill Billy Racing 2' and in
2004 it was borrowed by Trinity Church and ran as 'Trinity Typhoons' - they came 9th. Last
year at the New Milton Pedal Car Grand Prix, it ran as 'First Capital Finance' and came
10th. |

Car No 23 - Patterson's Banger
Team Leader is Martin Cherrett. The team has been racing since the early 1990's. The car is
the MK 4 version and finished 7th in 2003 and 4th in 2004. |

Car No 24 - Its Only The Trawlers. Under 16's Team
Team Leader is Shane Conway. Car has been borrowed for the race, and in previous
incarnations it has been 'Fanos Fantasy', 'Poulner Pedal Pushers' and 'Classic Rapido'! The
team is made up of year ten students from Arnewood School and this will be their first race. |

Team Leader is Cliff Polton (Race Director for this event). Car is sponsored by Royce UK Ltd.
Car was built for the 2004 race and finished 12th despite breaking its handlebars and having
to use mole grips instead! |

Car No 29 - Forever England
Team leader is Terry Cook. Car was built in six weeks, to take part in last years New Milton
Pedal Car Grand Prix. It went well until the chain broke and they unfortunately did not have
a spare one! |

Car No 30 - Tyred and E-Motional
Team Leader is Robert Austin. Car was built in three weeks, to take part in last years New
Milton Pedal Car Grand Prix. It now has improved steering and larger wheels for the 2006
season! |

Car No 31 - Pink Panthers. Under 16's Team & Ladies Team
Team Leader is Katie Stride. This is the first year that the team of all eleven year old
girls have raced. Car ran as 'Ringwood and District Round Table' in 2004, and the front
wheel fell off during the race - so lets hope that the girls have better luck with it! |

Team Leader is Ian MacMillan. Car is sponsored by Round Table. This car was originally built
by enthusiasts from Martin Pilley Services. It raced at Ringwood in 2004 and came 12th. |

Car No 33 - Dragon Racing. Ladies Team
Team Leader is Het Nicholson. Car has a solid history of being lead by Angus Nicholson
(Teacher) and pedalled by his team of pupils. But this year the Nicholson support crew are
taking their turn - after years on the sideline, the sisters are now going to be on the
start line! These 'Birds on the Wing' are going to put the pedal to the metal and aim for
the finish! |

Team Leader is Oliver Pilley. Car is sponsored by Dad! (Martin Pilley) The average age of
this team is 13 years old - in 2004, with a car was called 'Whizz Pigs' they beat Chris

Car No 35 - Pilley's Pedallers
Team Leader is Nick England. This is the fourth year they have competed at Ringwood and in
2004 the car finished in 5th place. |

Car No 37 - Ringwood Junior School Adders
Team Leader is Paul Radigan. Car is being pedalled by a team of Dads from Ringwood Junior
School. |

Car No 38 - The H.A.B.R.O Mob
Team Leader is Amy Lee. Car has been built by Business administration and engineering
apprentices from Honeywell Aerospace as part of their apprenticeship, and this is the first
time they have raced it. |

Car No 39 - Photos Rule! (The Orange Streak)
Team Leader is Wayne Robbins. Car is newly built this year, and is based on a prototype
built by Paul Davis. The team is made up of pedallers from around the country, and all have
previously pedalled in other cars. Darren Carter, now 18 is a former Under 16 National Pedal
Car Champion, Chris, Rob and Martin make up the rest of the team. Team Manager and Chief
Engineer is Darren's dad, Neil with his sister Rachel attending as the BPCC Publicity Officer. |

Car No 40 - Mig of the Dump
Team Leader is Steve Holloway. Car is based around a Pashley Tricycle and utilises parts
found at local refuse tips! It raced in the New Milton Pedal Car Grand Prix last year and
came 14th. |

Car No 41 - 6 Troop New Milton ACF. Under 16's Team
Team Leader is James Merrick. Car was built to take part in last years New Milton Pedal Car
Grand Prix, and came 28th overall. It has since undergone a few changes to the gearing and
weight, ready for this years race! |
